Privacy
What this site keeps, and for how long.
Short version: no cookies for visitors, no tracking, no analytics, no fonts or scripts from other servers. An entry is published only after you confirm it and the circle accepts it; the email address is never published. You can withdraw an entry at any time with the link in your mail, and it is deleted at once.
Who is responsible
delodi GmbH, Weizenweg 59, 12683 Berlin, Germany, imprint@delodi.net (the controller under the GDPR). Data protection officer: Joachim Klinkhammer, same address, j@delodi.net.
Visiting the site
The server keeps an access log with the IP address, time, requested page and browser name, to keep the site running and to stop abuse (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The log is deleted after 14 days. The site sets no cookie for visitors and stores nothing in your browser. Fonts are served from this server.
To limit automated entries, the site stores a keyed, one-way code derived from the IP address when a form is sent. It cannot be turned back into the address and is deleted after one day.
An entry in the register
What you write in the entry form, together with your email address, is stored so that the circle can read it, answer you and, if accepted, publish it in the register (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, your consent). Published are: the number, the name if you agreed to it, place, country, what runs, since when, for how many, legal form, layer, field, what is broken, what is needed, what can be given, and the link. The email address and the circle's notes are never published.
- An entry whose address is not confirmed within 14 days is deleted.
- An entry the circle does not accept is deleted 90 days after the decision.
- An accepted entry stays until you withdraw it. Withdrawal deletes everything except the number, which stays empty so the numbering holds.
The circle are the people at delodi and the builders invited to read entries. They see the full entry, including the email address.
The letters
Entries receive the letters unless they stop them. Anyone else who asks for them gives an email address, which is stored after a confirmation link is opened (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). An unconfirmed address is deleted after 14 days. Every letter carries a link to stop them; stopping deletes the address.
Mail from this site is sent through a mail service acting on our behalf under a data processing agreement. The text of sent mail is kept for 30 days for error tracing, then emptied; the record that a mail was sent stays.
Hosting
The site runs on a server at DigitalOcean, LLC, under a data processing agreement and the EU standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You can ask what is stored about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict its use, receive it in a portable form, and object to its use (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time, with effect for the future. Write to imprint@delodi.net. You can also complain to a supervisory authority, for Berlin the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit.
